Sell equipment

Selling the equipment from a surgery center that is closing

One buyer for the whole facility. A written offer within 24 hours of the inventory, removal on your schedule, and payment at pickup.

Operating room with surgical equipment in place

Built around your exit date

The reason for the closure decides who signs and how fast the space has to clear. We work to it.

Lease ending
We work back from the date the space has to be empty, and schedule removal for after your last case day.
Receivership or bankruptcy
We deal directly with the receiver or trustee. The written offer can go into their approval process.
Practice sale or consolidation
Equipment the buyer does not want still has value. We price what stays behind, room by room.
Relocation
Sell what will not make the move, and buy refurbished at the new site if the plan changes.

Everything, in one transaction

Selling a closure piece by piece takes months and leaves the leftovers for someone to haul away. One offer clears the space.

  • One written offer for the full inventory, with a price per item if you need it for the books
  • Low-value items included, so the space is left empty
  • Removal scheduled around building access and the landlord’s rules
  • Deinstall, rigging, crating, and freight arranged by us
  • Paid at pickup, at the price in the offer

Patient data on the equipment

Some equipment stores patient images, including C-arm workstations and some endoscopy video recorders. Every drive that can hold patient data is wiped or removed before a unit is resold. If your compliance team needs this documented, say so when you send your list.

Send the inventory

A written offer for the whole facility comes back within 24 hours. A room-by-room list, a spreadsheet, or photos of each room all work.

  • Model and serial numbers if you have them
  • Working status, including any error codes
  • Your date, if there is one: lease end, last case day, delivery of a new unit

Photos help. After you send the form, email them to sales@surgicalequipmentrentals.com with your facility name in the subject line.

To talk it through instead, call (312) 964-8033 or email sales@surgicalequipmentrentals.com.

Questions about closures

Can you take everything at once?

Yes. Whole-facility purchases are routine. One offer covers the full inventory, and one removal empties the space.

How much notice do you need?

Send the inventory as soon as the closing date is set. The offer comes back within 24 hours; removal is scheduled around your last case day and the building’s access rules.

Do you work with receivers and trustees?

Yes. We deal directly with the receiver or trustee, and the written offer can go into their approval process.

What about patient data on the equipment?

Every drive that can hold patient data is wiped or removed before a unit is resold. If you need it documented for your records, ask when you send the inventory.

When are we paid?

At pickup, at the price in the written offer, as long as the equipment matches the inventory you sent.
