Refurbished surgical microscopes for sale
Zeiss and Leica microscopes, floor stand or ceiling mount, configured for your specialty. Inspected before shipping, with a 90-day warranty.
Who buys them
Spine and neurosurgery centers buy the high-end stands; ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, and dental practices buy lighter units built for their working distance and field.
Models we commonly source
- Zeiss
- OPMI Pentero, OPMI Vario, OPMI Lumera, OPMI Pico
- Leica
- M525 (OH4, F40, F50), M720 OH5, Provido, M844
These are examples of what we commonly place. We source outside them on request.
What to check before you buy
The questions our proposal answers for every unit, so you can compare it against anyone else’s.
- Specialty fit
- Working distance, magnification range, and stand reach differ by specialty. An ophthalmic microscope is the wrong tool for spine.
- Mount
- Floor stand, ceiling mount, or wall mount. Ceiling mounts need a structural review of the room before purchase.
- Fluorescence
- Modules for fluorescein and ICG imaging are licensed options on many stands. Confirm they are present and enabled.
- Light source
- Xenon or LED. On xenon units, ask for lamp hours; a new lamp is a recurring cost.
- Video and recording
- Integrated camera, recorder, and monitor arm, or a separate video chain. Confirm what connects to your existing system.
- Optics
- Objective focal length, eyepieces, and assistant scope. Each one changes the working setup in the room.
What comes with a unit you buy
The paperwork your biomed team asks for, before you sign.
- Inspection
- A qualified technician inspects and tests the unit before it leaves. You get the results with the paperwork.
- Service history
- PM and repair records go out with the quote when the unit has them, so your biomed team reviews them before you commit.
- Warranty
- 90 days on parts and labor, starting the day the unit arrives.
- Delivery
- Freight to your dock, arranged by us. For health-system centers we follow the system’s biomed intake and documentation process.
- After day 90
- A maintenance agreement, quoted alongside the sale if you want one.
For a few weeks or months instead of for good, rentals run through our sister company, with service included in the monthly rate.

Questions buyers ask
Can a used microscope have fluorescence added later?
Sometimes. It depends on the stand and the manufacturer’s licensing. It is usually cheaper to buy a unit that already has the module than to add it.
Do you sell ceiling-mounted microscopes?
Yes. A ceiling mount needs a structural check of the room and an installer, and we coordinate both before delivery.
Why is there no price list?
We source each unit to the request, and the price depends on model, generation, configuration, and what the market is doing that month. You get an itemized proposal within 48 hours instead.
Is the equipment new?
It is refurbished: previously owned, inspected, tested, and warranted for 90 days. That is how the price stays well below new.
What if the model I want is not listed?
Ask for it. The models on these pages are examples of what we commonly place, and we source outside them all the time.
Can we trade in the unit we are replacing?
Yes. Take its value as a credit on the invoice or as cash at pickup. See the trade-in page for how it works.
